Nice room with sitting room attached. Bed and bedding great. Bathroom and paper products needing upgrade. Very clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

I was sick with a severe sinus infection & living alone, I was worried that if something bad were to happen during the severe, record breaking snow & ice storm that hit my area, that I could be in trouble. So I decided to stay at the Comfort Inn in Asheboro, NC. It was the best decision I could have made. I kept extending my stay for a total of 2 weeks as the freezing storms just kept coming through. The staff, including Sam, Traci, Rachael & others were so friendly & helpfull I felt completely at home. The hotel location is ideal as it was within walking distance of my bank if I needed money, the Sheetz gas station where I could get a hot meal & the Walgreens where I could get medicine, food, drinks & snacks. The hotel did serve a hot breakfast of eggs, biscuits & gravy & sausage patties the first 2 mornings but then there was a kitchen stove problem for the rest of my 10 days & only the waffle maker was able to give a hot meal. However there was plenty of bagels,bread,muffins, juice, assorted cereal with milk, creme cheese, ect., each other morning. The lobby coffee station was always stocked with hot fresh hood tasting coffee with an assortment of creamers & sugar packets. The Hotels theme of African animals, decor & artwork was very nice & in keeping with the promotion of the local State National NC Zoo. I had occasion to use the laundry machines twice & the waher & dryer worked flawlessly both times. There is an outdoor swimming pool but I was unable to use it as there was about 2 feet of snow & ice in it. Lol. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Everything was fine but couldn't take breakfast to your room witch made it hard because my mother was handicap

Tracey the front desk manager was outstanding (not just because she's a Steelers fan)! I arrived close to midnight, much later after my wife and the rest of my party. Tracey knew my arrival time and stayed after her shift to make sure I got in safely and to welcome me to the hotel with my key.

I have nothing but good things to say. Front desk staff was very nice and understanding especially when we put one card in the back of a phone case and had to have it reactivated and then when we left and forgot to grab the card and they issued us another card. Bed was actually very comfortable and room was clean. Great location

Thor hotel was wonderful my wife and I stayed here for zoo trip. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Rooms were nice bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Daniel at the front desk was amazing. They answered all my questions over the phone and were incredibly knowledgeable about the area. I had to change my reservation last minute and wanted to make sure I could walk in instead of booking online and because of their customer service provided by Daniel I felt incredibly secure in choosing this location, knowing I’d have multiple available rooms to choose from. I’m so glad I did my room was incredibly clean and well maintained. I was able to check in quickly and get the rest I needed. I was able to get a late checkout of 12pm at no cost when I checked in. Free Breakfast was very yummy and every staff member who I interacted with was very kind and friendly. I stayed during the holiday season and loved how festive the lobby was.
